Volkswagen has unveiled their latest iteration of the turbocharged GLI version of Jetta vehicle to this year’s Chicago Auto Show. I think this car will be pretty lovable by the market with the Autobahn. While the Jetta is already a cool car, it looks better with the 18 inch alloy wheels, smoked taillamps, and an even more aggressive front fascia. The car is totally painted in an attractive red color like in the picture above.
This 2012 Volkswagen Jetta GLI also appears eager to perform. It has the Volkswagen’s turbocharged 2.0 liter inline four engine under its hood which is rated on 200 horsepower and 207 pound feet of torque. The car will be available in both manual and dual clutch transmission. The last model that I was mentioned could reach 32 miles per gallon on the highway, and I think it is not bad for an impressively looked car.
The biggest upgrade is of course the turbocharged GLI technology that will benefit from the more sophisticated independent rear suspension compared to the standard version of Jetta. Volkswagen also ported over their XDS cross differential technology from its GTI. While it seems that this 2012 Jetta GLI car will be available on sale later this year, the car is reported to be priced at $ 23,495.

Shelby GT350 Bring New Colors
The 2011 version of Shelby GT350 will follow the similar philosophy like the Model T from Ford. You are allowed to have any color version of the vehicle as long as it is a white with blue stripes. But that is for model 2011, and it will be changed for the 2012 model. Shellby will bring the Race Red and Kona Blue color for the GT350. It will also be available in the convertible option. I think this is also the first time for Shelby to build a drop top model of GT350 since 1970.
This newer version of Shelby GT350 will still offering an identical performance with the 2011 model. I also think that the 2011 model doesn’t need any upgrade in the first place yet. There are 3 power option that you can choose from 430 horsepower for the base model, or the 525 or 624 horsepower versions. Some upgrades for the newer version is the larger brakes, Cragar wheels, sport suspension, full body kit, and some more.
The convertible version of the car will come with a light bar option. Carrol Shelby claims that it sounds like the one that was built in 1965, and he is targeting to repeat the history. Shelby American is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Carroll Shelby International Inc.

Land Rover Will Announce Range Rover Ultimate Edition At Geneva
If we are looking at the car market today, we will see mostly exotic sportscar or a luxury sedan. Some SUV were also seen, but the difference between them are still too far. However, the high demand for high riding game has provide an opportunity for Land Rover.
The top of the line SUV is called as the Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition. It is touted as the most luxurious Range Rover. To meet thee ‘ultimate’ condition, Land Rover has equipped the vehicle with a first class cabin with four individual brackets and separated the front and back seat with an aluminum tray tables and drinks cooler in the backside. The rear passenger will got an iPad docked to the front seatbacks, while the cargo use a yacht inspired teak deck.
For the appearance, you will see a dark grille, door handles with keyed color, as well as the unique 20 inch alloys and requisite special badge. There are 2 different option for the engine. 4.4 liter V8 turbodiesel, or 5.0 liter supercharged V8. Both of them were mated to the eight speed automatic transmission from ZF and could reach 60mph in 7.5 and 5.1 seconds respectively. Like any other EV in the market today, Ford Focus electric will allow its users to travel anywhere without ever visiting a gas station. It is a very appealing thing for the go green campaign. In fact, Ford claims that their upcoming electric vehicle will offer a lot more than just a lack of petrol needed. 2012 Buick Regal Exist In Chicago
We have talked about 2012 Buick Regal which will be equipped with eAssist before. Now, this is the real picture of the car that will be presented on Chicago Auto Show, before the show itself starts. For the appearance, this more fuel efficient 2012 Buick Regal looks no different with the basic car beside the 17 inch alloy wheels which is eco friendly and the low rolling resistance tires.
However, the most interesting part about this car is located under its hood. It has 15 kilowatt electric motor that will bring 15 horsepower and 110 pound feet of torque when you hit the thrust for the first time, combined with the 2.4 liter direct injected inline four engine from Buick. Moreover, it has a regenerative braking with a start/stop system for the engine which resulting in a Regal that is capable to achieve 26 miles per gallon for inner city, and 37 on highway.
The new eAssist system from Buick was first debuted in the larger LaCrosse sedan. It serves as the main powertrain for the 2012 year vehicles. With this Buick Regal, the eAssist car will be put between the base 2.4 liter car and Regal Turbo which has 220 horsepower and 2.0 liter Ecotec inline four. The pricing will be announced when it close to the launch later this year.
