Make sure you wash it with lukewarm water and be forewarned that your skin will be very sensitive and it may burn. After you have gently washed it and dried it, coat your tattoo with bacitracin. You will need to do this a few times a day for the first week or until the scab has completely fallen off your tattoo.
Secondly, you must stay out of the sun! Do not submerge it in water or soak it, keep harsh soaps and or chemicals off of it. Try your best to restrict the amount of rubbing or friction on it from clothes and lastly do not put your tattoo under running water.
