Some leaked photos has been revealed by the manufacturer before its official debu at 2011 Geneva Motor Show. This new model will come with two engine options. The C350 coupe will get 304 horsepower from its 3.5 liter V6 engine, while the C250 coupe get 1.8 liter direct injected turbo four with 201 horsepower. Both of them will has 7 speed automatic transmission from the rear wheels.
The car will get two fewer doors and a lower roof, and that’s about it. The wheelbase, front end, luxury touch, and the electronic wizardry of this C-Class coupe is still the same. Will it be enough to take the attention of BMW 3 Series coupe an Audi A5 users? We can only wait and see the result after this car hit the showrooms. NHTSA Investigate 100,000 VW And Audi Diesels
According to a report from The Detroit News, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) will increase the intensity of investigation to the Volkswagen fuel pumps. They have announced that they are currently watching around 97,272 of Volkswagen and Audi diesel model after receiving 160 complaints regarding of the issue. NHTSA claims that half of the complaints said that the bad pumps caused an engine stall that prevent the engine from being restarted.
The major accidents have been concluded into the faulty pumps. However, there is one minor fender bender which has been reported to be the result of the issue. This investigation by NHTSA will include 2010 Golf hatchbacks, some 2010 Audi A3 models, and 2009-2010 Jetta sedans.
Volkswagen claims that this issues on their fuel pump which was being the trouble, have resulted from the diesel fuel which is contaminated by gasoline. They say that even it is only a small amount of gas mixed with diesel fuel, it will cause the pumps to shut down. Unfortunately if you have this problem, the damage on your fuel system won’t be covered under warranty. Moreover, Volkswagen has told NHTSA about 120 separate fuel slip ups. Some of hose were came courtesy to the dealers, and service person that use the wrong fuel.

Toyota FT-86 Will Come In April
Back in October 2010, there is a news that Toyota’s FT-86 will be touted as a Scion in USA. But now, there is a clarification about this news. The car is said to be officially release as Scion FT-S, not FR-S. FT on its name refers to ‘Future Toyota’. For your information, Scions were sold without neither rebates nor finance options, thus was the things that makes them release the FT-S as Scion.
Toyota are hoping that the car will bring them a 65% of profit after three years. The car will officially do its debut as the Scion FT-S at New York Auto Show next April 22. This report also said that the car will get 2.5 liter engine, instead of the 2.0 liter. Toyota are expecting the car to compete with other top sports cars with this engine. Fortunately, the Scion FT-S will only priced around $ 20,000, and the Subaru model is $ 40,000.
For AWD fans, the AWD model will be included in Subaru. The reason is that Toyota don’t want the brands to competing each other. The production for Scion FT-S will start in the 4th quarter of 2011. However, it is still depending on the success of Scion IQ which will be created in May 2011.

2011 Dodge Grand Caravan R/T Announced
Some times ago, Chrysler said that they will release a manlier minivan, and this 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan R/T seems like just the thing. The engine is still the Dodge’s 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 which is able to produce 283 horsepower and 260 pound feet of torque in a minivan. Yes, this man mini van has a Hemi spec power outputs.
Beside from the engine section which is manlier, this Grand Caravan R/T is also looks someway more aggressive with a unique set of 17 inch alloys. The car use a design tweaks for the body colored side moldings. In the interior, the black leather seats will be the standard kit, with a red contrast stitching that gives the male customers some sportiness aura.
However, I still don’t think that this car will be able to impress your friends which drive a sport car and come to the same parties with you. That was the minus point of the ‘man’ van. But even so, this Grand Caravan R/T has a good chance to compete with the other competitors for its trim package to the customers who need a capability of a minivan, but also still trying to seen cool.
